New PS Vita Titles Announced at PlayStation™ Experience
We were excited to hear Sickhead Games mentioned at the PlayStation™ Experience keynote in December! As Gio noted, we are currently helping to bring TowerFall Ascension, TowerFall Darkworld (Matt Makes Games) and Octodad: Dad-liest Catch (Young Horses, Inc) to PlayStation Vita. We’ve had our hands on the Vita dev kits for a while now but have not been able to talk about it. These games will be perfect additions to the PS Vita lineup and we’re excited to help put them there.
Escape Goat 2 Out Now!
Our latest indie title to bring to the PlayStation 4™… Escape Goat 2! The fantastical, hand-drawn puzzle platformer created by Ian Stocker (Magical Time Bean) can now be found on the PlayStation Store. Goatness awaits!
Dust: An Elysian Tail Released on the PlayStation™ Store
We recently completed work on the PS4™ port for Dust: and Elysian Tail (Humble Hearts), and it debuted in the PlayStation™ Store as a part of the Instant Game Collection, free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Dean Dodrill created a rich, charming world in this critically acclaimed indie rpg, and it was a blast to help it get to current consoles in full HD. Check it out now.
Sickhead Helps Bring TowerFall Ascension to the PS4™
We were honored to help bring Matt Thorson’s excellent TowerFall Ascension (Matt Makes Games) to the PlayStation 4™. We’ve been using MonoGame extensively over the last few years, so working with Matt and Sony to port the game to PS4™ was a good fit. This one will go down in video game history as one of the best local multiplayers of all time. Pick it up on Playstation™ Network or Steam now!

ARMED! Postmortem at the Dallas Society of Play
Tom, Russell, and James presented a comprehensive postmortem for ARMED! at the local indie meetup, the Dallas Society of Play, covering everything from tech and game design to art creation and marketing. Everyone had a blast. We spoke honestly about what has worked and what hasn’t. We had a blast, and were able to meet a ton of great local indies. Thanks, Society of Play! Porting ARMED! To OUYA
Sickhead’s Tom Spilman and James Ford took a Saturday afternoon to jam on getting ARMED! onto the upcoming Android-based OUYA console. ARMED! was developed in XNA, and moving it to other platforms using MonoGame has been a relatively painless process. Check out Tom’s liveblog of the event on the MonoGame site.
