Fae Tactics is a turn-based tactical RPG from Endlessfluff Games published by Humble Games. You follow a young magic user, across a pixel-art world split between humans and fae creatures, building a party, collecting allies, and working through grid-based combat with a creature-collector twist. Think Final Fantasy Tactics by way of a solo indie dev with a very specific vision. Sickhead handled the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S ports, shipping alongside a day-one Xbox Game Pass listing, meaning the ports needed to be solid from the moment they went live, with no warm-up period. Porting a tactics game to controller requires thoughtful input work: menus, grid navigation, unit selection, and spell targeting all have to feel native to a gamepad rather than bolted on from a mouse-and-keyboard design. Doing that cleanly across two Xbox hardware generations simultaneously, while hitting a Game Pass launch, is the kind of multi-constraint problem Sickhead is built for.
Sickhead Games is the leading game porting studio, bringing Unity, Unreal, Godot, and custom engine titles to console and handheld including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. From codebase assessment to post-launch support, we're trusted by solo indies and major publishers alike, including Humble Games, Sony Interactive, Nintendo, Annapurna, Good Games, ConcernedApe, MegaCrit, 17-Bit, Maddy Makes Games, Zachtronics, Keen Software House, Thomas Happ, Pocketwatch Games, EXOK, Young Horses, Taito, Jaleco, and Microsoft. We've shipped over 100 releases, among them Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, Axiom Verge, Space Engineers, and Celeste. We specialize in bringing retro masterpieces, indie darlings, and PC classics to modern audiences like Grandia, Enclave, and Jaleco Sports titles.
